Lawsuits are unfortunately a tool used by some people, particularly our opponents, to stifle debate and individual rights. In the interest of those rights, specifically our right to freedom of expression, here are a few simple terms of use.
1. This site is based in the United States of America and is protected by the United States Constitution, which provides for free expression of ideas.
2. It’s impossible to insure against lawsuits (as anti-nuclear activists know too well), so we can’t make any warranties or implied contracts. By using this site, you agree that you have been informed of that fact and waive your right to sue.
3. The contents of this site, minus external content expressly denoted as such and minus user comments, are copyright 2005-2009 Nuclear is Our Future, as noted in the footer.
4. Please don’t plagiarize us. We encourage people to distribute information that we produce, but please include a link or other citation. After all, if you’re distributing information that we produced, you presumably would want people to learn as much about nuclear technology as possible.
5. Some people who are unclear on the concept of the internet seem to think that we’re responsible for user-generated content. We aren’t. In DMCA terms, we provide user generation of content as a service, not the content itself as a product.
6. A very big deal will be made of any lawsuit filed in an attempt to shut us up. Those who filed it will not like the result, from a PR standpoint.
Please comment below or contact us with any disputes with or comments upon this notice.
